    The difference is, a 2 beat a 12; a 1 beat a 6; a 1 beat a 3 and a 1 lost to an 11. It didn't play out anywhere near chalk.

This has been the best tournament in recent memory. If playing on truly neutral floors had anything to do with the number of upsets and competitiveness, then I'm all for keeping it in one spot every year. Or at least from the Sweet 16 on.

Second day thoughts: What the hell did Enfield do to scare his players? All the Trojans, except the Mobleys, played scared. The other forwards and the guards were petrified. They weren't trying too hard, they were simply scared.

I predicted all three Pac-12 teams would lose in the Elite Eight. I said I would pick USC to win against any of the others except Gonzaga.

I gave UCLA the best chance to win, but after watching some of their season-ending games, the Bruins didn't know how to finish. They didn't exactly finish well last night, missing their last couple of shots and free throws. But Michigan couldn't finish either. How many shots in a row did the Wolverines miss at the end, 10 or so? The clock reviews kept giving them more chances (rightfully so), but they still couldn't make a basket. All of their last few shots were way off.

I had UCLA on the money line last night. Cant believe they won. They played hard and made life as difficult for Michigan as they could, but they have no offence! Cant believe they won that.

Didn't know exactly what thread to post this on, but apparently the NCAA had a very bad time in front of the Supreme Court this morning.

It’s probably worth its own thread.

Maybe scared of Gonzaga rather than Enfield.

I enjoyed the excitement of the men's college basketball tournament and the sweet sixteen and regional finals were mostly fun. The thing I was left with was that aside from Gonzaga, it seems like in the half court, most teams are just passing the ball around for the first 20 secs of the shot clock with no real aim (and they can't even make simple passes at times because everyone on O is so passive), then its 1 on 1 time. I guess my POV is that the NBA teams have a much more definitive goal at the start of each possession and more decisive with getting a shot up if the opportunity is open. Someone up there said "scared", well that's what I saw a great deal of the time, guys getting the ball at the FT line or even deeper at times and they don't have a decisive offensive move in mind or even look to shoot. That doesn't make for good BB. Juzany of UCLA scored 18 of UCLA's 25 at the half and there were no others who were much of a threat.
