Here we see the fatal gap in perception between stats that measure individual prowess and stats which indicate contributions to team victory. A dribbler down the line is a weak result for the batter himself. But it instigated a play in which what was eventually the winning run scored. The Angels thought that had a lot of value to them, and they were right.

MLB has no way of moving the game from Macon or Warner-Robins. They've got to use what they've got. As I've said before, if all the black UGa. scholarship athletes applied for transfer on the same day, that would be the most effective sports-related protest.

But the Braves aren't in Atlanta anymore; they're in Cobb County, which is (or at least was) Newt Gingrich country.

Of course they celebrate a win. And smart baseball fans realize it was a terrible at bat.

They moved the Braves to the suburbs to get away from The Blacks. Where were you a few years ago?
Edit - I got beat to the punch.

How many times does a guy hit the snot out of the ball and not get an RBI? Equals out.
Winning the game is still the goal.

Biden won Cobb County by 14%.

    Clinton won it too.

So he meant to hit a dribbler. Good job by Puljos.

The funny thing is, you are making my point and you don’t even realize it.

You never answered who the basement boys are?

Indeed Cobb County, home of the stadium, voted for Democratic candidates in both Senate races and for president.

They already moved themselves to a Republican enclave.
