You dinosaurs are priceless, nobody is worrying about it. It still does not make a good at bat or clutch. It shows the stupidity of the stat.

Tell me, where would RBI rank as a metric in evaluating a hitter?

What an at bat, that RBI was clearly earned and had nothing to do with the triple.

The Dalai Pujols homers 20 years to the day of his MLB debut. It’s his first hit of the season.

Yes, dinos who still believe the team with the most runs at the end of the game wins. And that most runs are scored by someone driving them in.

If nobody is worrying about it then why are your panties in such a knot?

And I think Nate Colbert, who had 84 RBIs for the 1971 Padres, would be evaluated higher than Enzo Hernandez, who had 12 in a similar amount of at-bats.

Bauer five no-hit innings, leaves with a 5.68 ERA.

Three more meaningless RBIs made the score 7-4 White Sox.

If that Pujols homer came with no one on base, he would have two fewer RBI. Would that make him a worse player?

I’ll be That Guy and point out that Weiss was president of the Mets in ‘62.

I’ve always liked the story of how when the Yankees dumped Weiss, they gave him a deal to make him go away where they paid him a lot of money as long as he didn’t become the GM of another team. So when the Mets hired Weiss, they made him president, not GM, although it was pretty obvious what he was there for. The Yankees just grumbled and paid.

Dinosaur manager Tony La Russa orders an intentional walk of Albert Pujols, a player almost as old as he is. Probably saw that Albert has four RBI.

It's not in the Style Guide, but I believe the proper way to post this is "Nothing happening in ...'

Kubek didn’t even get an RBI, since he hit into a DP.
