Why pray at all if everything is predetermined? Won't help with a thing in that case.

Paraphrasing Tim Keller...God answers prayers perfectly if we knew what He knew.

    Exactly.
And if there is a god that created every atom in the universe and put every atom together are the prayers of 7 billion human on this planet really worthy of any attention.

Me: Dear God, please don’t let those men rape my baby.

God: I’m granting the prayers of those men. They prayed to rape a baby before you prayed for help.

Yabut, I still don't get whether praying is productive. Or, does God even want us to pray. With millions of the faithful tugging on his sleeve.

Does God, that created every atom in the infinite universe, every law of nature, of physics, of mathematics, want to hear a predetermined series of sounds?

The God in the Bible wants us to pray. Further God is not overwhelmed by the volume of prayer.

Which Bible? The King James? Or one of the other myriad translations (by people, not deities).
Many versions quote God in Exodus 20:5 as saying, "I am a jealous God." Do you think God is Jealous? Is that why we should pray to Him/Her?
