Baylor's mounting foul trouble could affect its ability to be aggressive on defense and rebounding.

All in all, I think the Zags have to be happy to be down 10 at the break.

Ten points down ain’t a bad place to be after that initial bed wetting.

Gonzaga went to the canvas, took a standing eight-count and started punching back. This isn't over.

Far from over. Definitely a chance to pull this out, which would add to the legacy.

They played Baylor even for the final 16:00, but they haven't shown they can be +10 or better for the second half

As Hemingway might have written in "The Zags Finally Fall":

"Oh Timme," Jalen said. "We could have had such a damned good time together."

Upcourt was a referee in stripes calling a foul. He blew his whistle. The action slowed down suddenly, for the four-minute media timeout.

"Yes," I said. "Isn't it pretty to think so?"

I’m unsure if Gonzaga sees enough big, strong, athletic teams in the regular season. UCLA and now Baylor are just bigger, stronger, fastering the Zags right now.

And Gonzaga needs to play some defense to win this thing.

It sees them. Unfortunately they are all clumped together in November and December. And by an accident of geography there really isn’t a great solution.

If K leaves Duke in the next couple of years, don’t you have to listen if you are Few? You’ve done as much as you possibly can in Spokane.
