2020-21 College Basketball thread

They were supposed to play each other in early December before a covid cancelation. It wouldn’t have changed tonight but I don’t think the Zags would have gotten run off the floor then.

 

That last Baylor basket showed the problem Gonzaga had in this matchup. The Bears are too quick and shifty to ever get a handle on them. It’s like they’re just out of reach, which must be frustrating as hell.

 

The hard-right Baptists at Baylor's seminary must be envious of the groundbreaking work their athletic department does in disproving the existence of karma on an annual basis.

 

I wonder if Quinn Buckner, Bobby Wilkerson and Kent Benson will pull a 72 Dolphins and toast remaining the last undefeated champion

 

No. They showed get-up-and-fight toward the end of the first half.

They haven't shown nearly enough in the second half. Gonzaga and Few wisely tried a zone defense, but Baylor shot them out of it.

Bears are just too much to ... Bear.

I know several people who teach at Baylor’s seminary, and they are so not hard-right Baptists.
