Nah, I think insulting someone’s wife is weirder.

Otis, I think it’s time Barney puts you in the tank again. Let yourself out in the morning.

It would be nice if the national conversation were about tax deltas. The problem is much deeper than that.

I think we all can figure out they're just trying to steer kids away from what they consider to be the liberal arts professions. And in this day and age, kids can strike it rich all of a sudden by becoming influencers or doing gig work or other stuff. You never know what experience at college is going to be the one that shapes your life. And the idea that the government can pick for you, any government, is scary.

My uneducated guess is that laid off journalists are able to transition their skills into other fields somewhat rapidly. Journalists tend to freelance, network and work side-hustles (out of necessity because the pay is shit to begin with), so they're able to leverage those into new jobs pretty quickly, in or out of the industry. An out-of-work physicist isn't going to slide into another field as easily, and would likely have to move to get a new job within their field.

My neighbor has a 22 year old son, who’s both autistic and has Down syndrome. I’m pretty sure they are leaving the home they built and paid off over the last 25 years to him in trust. They should let their kid go into a group home on Medicaid and let their estate fund a needle exchange program and a pita making class in Afghanistan.

Wasn't insulting her. I was insulting him.

First they come for the journalism and international studies majors in Florida.

Then they’ll say you can’t go to Arizona State to become a pornstar.

Where does it all end, folks?

The first million would be tax free under any passable plan.

Is there a cutoff time for “abruptly”? I feel like we are past that time.

So is it OK to insult someone as long as they're not someone's wife?

For the record, I don't give a damn if you insult someone.
