More than a few teams are going to be in this situation. If it’s a Tuesday night in Oakland, a limit of 10,000 will not represent a restraint on the A’s revenue.

They are currently updating Sahlen Field in Buffalo in anticipation of Year II with the Blue Jays. The Bisons will play their games in Trenton until the Blue Jays can return to Toronto.

Interesting fact I learned from the story: Sahlen Field, which opened in 1988 as the first of HOK's brand of downtown, throwback ballparks, is now the oldest stadium in Triple A with the shift of the Pawtucket franchise to Massachusetts. Sahlen Field is still a beautiful place to watch a game.

Will always be Pilot Field to me. And yes, it is a great venue.

Dodgers get their rings and win 1-0. Buehler is excellent again (so was Joe Ross for the Nats). Turner hit a homer.

And Knebel was dirty in top-9 for the save. Looks like he'll be the closer. Or should be.

The first no-hitter in Padres history. One of MLB's craziest streaks is over.

That’s it now, right? Doesn’t every MLB team have at least one no-hitter?

Yep. For a while, it was just the Padres and Mets who hadn't done it, but Johan Santana pitched for New York a few years ago.
