Totally unrelated, but scrolling down from that I saw one from what is apparently an old school Dairy Queen that is only open seasonally and also sells Nathan’s hot dogs and now I am wildly jealous.

Shop that sells ice cream closes seasonally because it's too cold for ice cream.

Doesn't seem like a great business plan.

I know a guy who has a couple DQ franchises.

    The plan is quite profitable.

Some old-style DQ's in the upper Midwest don't have indoor seating and thus would close up shop when the weather turned cold, right? When I lived in North Nowhere it was a big deal when the DQ on Rosser Avenue opened for the season, it meant that winter was finally over.

One of the shocks to the system the winter we lived in Pennsylvania was that the local Tastee Freeze was closed for the winter. Wasn’t really an issue with the DQs we knew down south.

The Minnesota State Patrol was mentioned in several tweets from the scene.

Protecting that delicate flower of Minnesota womanhood, I guess. Just precious.

Chauvin's home was targeted at that time.

Graffiti, if memory serves. Maybe more, not sure.

Too bad they care more about property damage than human life.
