That's a pretty damn lame "action" shot.

Originally, I think there was a photo of Paul Householder in which the first and last letters were nearly tucked into his pants. But yeah, Saltalamacchia probably takes the cake.

Fans (particularly media folks) of a particular sport or event saying "there's nothing like it."

Well, no shit there's nothing like the Super Bowl or World Series or Masters or March Madness. But that doesn't mean it's better than the rest.

My last name is one letter short. The jersey situation is the main reason I decided not to go pro.

I'm surprised a redneck organization the Reds let their players high-5, considering who originated it.

The Reds traded for infielder Wayne Krenchicki in February 1982. He had a huge mustache. They had a "no facial hair" policy. They were close to being done with their media guide and couldn't get a photo of him. So they took his old photo from Baltimore and airbrushed out his mustache. There was a blank area between his nose and upper lip.

Pet Peeve: “I give all the glory to God” or any other statement that God made it happen. If someone would say it and walk away, that would be a beleivable statement. Yet they end up taking about themselves, which doesn’t give the glory to God.
