The defense "expert" testified that putting Floyd on his stomach, handcuffing his hands behind his back and putting a knee on his neck for 9 1/2 minutes didn't constitute deadly force. Which, of course, is complete and utter bullshit.

Too bad the judge or prosecutors, on cross, couldn't just say, "Ok, bailiffs, let's do that to this guy right now and if he's still alive after 9 1/2 minutes his testimony will stand."

Aargh! That would be the O.J. glove all over again. Guy gets up after 9 1/2 minutes, starts doing jumping jacks, says, "If I'm fit, you must acquit."

Here's the "secret" about experts, you can get almost anyone to give you the opinion you're looking for. What people need to pay attention to is (1) what have they done before that gives their opinion any weight; and (2) what facts is that opinion based upon.

See this is what cross-examination is for:

Fowler is the "expert" for Chauvin:

Blackwell (prosecutor) restated the question, to which Fowler responded: "Correct, it takes four minutes of no oxygen supply to the brain to cause irreversible brain damage."

Because some people suck the dick of every police officer and military member in every way possible. Swallow. Tea bag. Jerk off. Rim job.

Why wouldn’t they think they can do whatever they want.

There are businesses where I live attacked on social media because they chose not to give first responders, which include police officers, free meals last summer. Literally held hostage on social media for not giving free meals to these fuckers. I respect the shit out of them but we put them on way too high of a pedestal.

And that’s why this Virginia thing pisses me off. Just because he’s in the military gear that black man is supposed to be treated differently than another black man not in military gear? Don’t we see the fucking problem with that? Oh, black guy not in camo beat the fuck out of them. In camo, whoa hands off.

What’s really creepy are the radio stations, restaurants, etc., that play the Star Spangled Banner at high noon every day and expect everyone to drop what they are doing and pay full reverence on the spot. I suppose this makes me one of the hopeless online cools who hate America that I find that to be authoritarian bullshit.
