Well, maybe "Real Americans" didn't vote for a big Infrastructure plan or Afghanistan withdrawal by Biden, but they had no problem supporting Trump's efforts.

Honestly, the Voting reforms in Georgia are actually aimed at overriding the will of the people. You think a state that elected two D Senators and voted Biden is all down with making voting harder? Hawley is really dumb for a "smart guy" isn't he? Throw in that he has two MLB teams in his state, as does Cruz. Where the hell is Senator Coach on this bill?

And Baseball America analyzed how losing the exemption would impact baseball - really - not much. Though I guess the A's could move whenever and wherever they wanted.
Why Baseball's Antitrust Exemption Isn't A Strong Negotiating Tool For MiLB.

The political science research on this is extensive and applies to both Congress and state legislatures. They respond almost exclusively to the concerns of the wealthiest of their constituents. The rest don't count. That's why corporate taxes will almost surely not go up.
