How scary can it be when someone is running away from you?

My bigger question is....where are they going to go? If they leave their car to run away...where are they going that they won't eventually be caught?

I'd like to say "Well, we only hear about the bad officers." But the lack of the "good officers" raising their voices is probably as disturbing as these various incidents. Honestly, when a journo goes "bad" - other journalists go through everything they've done to figure out how much of what they wrote was BS. They have seminars, I was involved in an all-day Gannett-wide "teach-in" on ethics after some bad stuff went down.

At this point I wouldn't have a problem banning white people from being police officers. They seem genetically predisposed to shooting unarmed people of color.

Half these cops I’m convinced actually want their city to go up in flames so they can see some action.

My friend, the young man had a “gun in hand” a split second before.

Simply a tragic situation for all involved.
