Reds have scored 7 runs against the Indians in bottom-3, still no outs.

The Dodgers are going to be without Cody Bellinger a lot longer than originally expected. He has a hairline fracture in his leg that they missed during the first set of tests. I wonder how much worse he made the injury by trying to work out on it.

If you are drafting starting pitchers who are in the HOF from the modern era, who is the last pitcher chosen?

Yankees missing MLB HR leader (and functional 1B), while Sanchez has gotten off to good start. But he's about the only one. NY season hinges on 2nd and 3rd SP, who have shown nothing. Outside of rotation, Cashman has built 100-win team w/o mega salaries, which I'm sure the owner appreciates.

Braves calling up Sean Kazmar Jr. Last appeared in the bigs with the Padres as a teammate of Greg Maddux -- in 2008.

    Looks like overhand slow pitch.

Winegarner was a player-manager in the minor leagues before AND after World War II, when he lost the 1943, 1944 and 1945 seasons to military service. He was a coach for the St. Louis Browns in 1949 when they activated him as a pitcher. Amazing.

The amazing thing about this new Brave is that he spent seven consecutive seasons in Triple-A Gwinnett and nowhere else. The Braves neither released nor promoted him. That just doesn't happen anymore. Wild. I looked at his record assuming he had bounced from one organization to another.
