That's longer than we owned the house in Gwinnett! And almost as long as I spent in traffic on I-85.

EDIT: Just looking at Kazmar's career stats, via BB-Ref. He has 1,558 career minor league hits over 16 seasons -- and eight in 19 career major league games.

He was 5.7 years younger than the average major leaguer when he debuted with the Padres in 2008. He was 7.1 years OLDER than the average AAA player in 2019.

Reds just turned a triple play on the Tribe. Votto catces a liner, tags the runner and throws the runner out at third.

IIRC, Maury Wills spent about seven years at Triple-A before getting the call.

De Grom struck out 9 in a row. Will no doubt lose as winners win.

The Mets scored, and Gary Cohen says, "And DeGrom's got his run."

But, a rally to pick hm up. Diaz saves it for DeGrom. COL with 17 Ks in seven innings. My God.

    .174, .172, .156 in the 2-3-4 slots.

Soon as I took this screenshot, another 100-hitter, Slater, hit a 3-run homer so the Giants have that going for them.

Edit: Belt started the 5-run rally with a solo homer.

Twins have been in and out of COVID jail for almost a week now. Andrelton Simmons, who declined the vaccine and won't talk about it, tested positive on Wednesday. Baldelli thought he'd tested positive before they got on the plane to California on Thursday, but it was judged to be a false positive, and it sounds like they had already locked down a non-playing member of the traveling party yesterday. Team was offered the J&J the day after the home opener, so on the 8th.

MLB's gonna need to figure their shit out real quick on this one, as this is one of only two trips the Twins have west of Kansas City, and the only off day on the other one (between Seattle and Arlington in mid-May) is on a day in which the Angels already have another game.

Elsewhere in the Central, 57-year-old Salvy Perez just walked off the Dunedin Blue Jays.

Sunday's Twins-Angels game also off. No makeup set, but it's Minnesota's only trip to Anaheim this season.

He was superior on defense in 2016 and the clear choice for MVP that year.

But anyway ... a walk-off catch last night.
