Get ready for a doubleheader of 7-inning games in which the out-of-town team is the home team by rule.

Is there a list of minor league career records somewhere? I'd be curious what the records are for things like hits, home runs, strikeouts, etc. Gotta imagine that 1,558 hits is toward the top of the all-time list, since most guys don't spend more than 3-4 years in the minors.
Maybe it's on B-R somewhere, but I suck at searching that thing for more than the basics.

There's this story, which apparently lists an editor for the Encyclopedia of Minor League Baseball, which I've never seen. Some of the records are crazy, particularly when leagues played close to 200 games in a season.

Aaron Nola with what's replacing the triple play as the rarest sight in baseball -- a complete game. Two-hit shutout against the Cards. 109 pitches.

Always nice to see the Boston Red Sox wear yellow sox.

Fittingly, however, they were playing the Chicago White Sox, who were wearing black sox.

The point of that story makes sense, though, in that there are two distinct eras of minor league baseball. Everything before about 1960, when leagues like the Pacific Coast League attracted quality players who played most of their careers there, and then the more modern era when most players only spend a few seasons in the minors before being promoted or washing out and the structure became a bit more organized. I'd mostly be interested in the latter.
