    Not sure who he means by "they," but the whiff rate explosion is real.
    In 2008, MLB hitters missed on 18.87% of their swings. So far this year, they're coming up with air on 27.2% of their hacks.

    First world problems: yankee fan (no not that guy, I don’t think) calls in to radio station and offers this excuse for why fans weren’t assholes for throwing balls on the field in the 8th inning of an 8-2 loss to Tampa bay : (paraphrasing) “I had to buy 4 season tickets instead of my usual 3 this year, and parking is $45 ...”
    So obviously he deserves to see only wins and excellent play by his favorite team.
