    You think he would have left if he would have found a team where he could start? If Washington preferred him to Fitzpatrick (which much of the football world would have, specifically on that team)?

    Given his injuries, I couldn’t see any team taking the risk and signing him as their no. 1. His best hope to start would have been mentor/early depth chart leader to a rough around the edges rookie QB.

    They were best when he was their QB (not much competition, but still), and considering their defense and O-line, I would have signed him and a strong, similar backup - someone who won't lose the game for you even if he won't win it. Fitz is exactly the guy I would not want.

    Agree on Fitz. It seems like the relationship with the WFT broke down at the end of the year for some reason. I think he wanted to start.
