Once again, tell each one of those f**kers, "when was the last time you took 3 weeks of your life to serve on a jury?" "When was the last time you spent each day for 3-4 weeks knowing that someone's life hung in the balance of your decision?"

Screw them, they've never done anything and they have no basis to adjudge the jurors. Dismiss those clowns out of hand and resume your life.

O.J. jury served 265 days. Screw them. :)

Look I disagreed with those jurors too but 265 is 265 and I give them credit for that. Plus the prosecution screwed the pooch with that glove issue/Fuhrman stuff and DNA was very new. Also leaving out the chase as evidence was wrong IMHO.

So that no one thinks I'm not addressing this; been a long day.

For the same reason cities rage and burn themselves down after winning sports titles, or rage against losing the championship.

That's just one example. I didn't post it in hopes it would happen last night.

I don’t agree but I follow the logic of how you got there. Time for me to drop it.

I don't really care about pushback so long as the pushback doesn't include casual accusations of dog whistling.

He's a disgrace. Where I live every time they were protesters in the streets last summer, they were escorted by police. So are motorists allowed to run over police who are escorting marches in the street?

This case's outcome has allowed the Republican screamitocracy to once again reveal just how deplorable they truly are. While some on the right, notably the FOP, have come out in favor of this conviction, the DeathSantis'es of the world refuse to give an inch. How hard would it have been for that ilk to say, "See? The justice system works! Just like we've told you all along!" Instead, they have to drum up anti-Maxine Waters bullshit and mob fear.

Missed opportunity on the part of the GQP. But, not surprising.

“Mob rule,” like what we had on Jan. 6.

    Monday
About 20 years ago, I was talking to a priest fairly high in his dioscesan structure. I told him the Roman Catholic Church should immediately cooperate with legal authorities in all sexual misconduct investigations. The priest got all flustered and said, "oh my god the church would never do that."
    I said, "why not?"
"Simple. Because 60-80 percent of priests would resign instantly."
"You mean 60-80 percent of priests are guilty of sexual misconduct?"
"Probably not. But they might be charged."

And this was a guy trying to put a good spin on things.
