Sitting here jamming out to "It's Never Over (Hey Orpheus)" by Arcade Fire, which is arguably the most Canadian-sounding song that formerly Canadian-based band has ever done. What tops it? Anything by Gordon Lightfoot, Men Without Hats or the Tragically Hip?

It’s either “Bobcaygeon” by the Hip or “Northwest Passage” by Stan Rogers, and probably the latter.

Stompin' Tom Connors would have several candidates for this but I will pick this one, done here by another Canuckistani musical icon, Kim Mitchell:

Not most Canadian, but most Canadiana. Countrymen of a requisite vintage will understand.
