When Fox turned to Carlson after it had to get rid of O’Reilly and Megyn Kelly left, he jumped in with both feet, much like Gregg Jarrett did after his career was hanging by a thread after a drunken episode in the Minneapolis airport

 

What's nuts is that O'Reilly is still around, I think hosting "a show" on Newsmax or some Conservative streaming thing - and he's a non-entity. And it isn't like what he did was so objectionable to his audience - he lost THE platform and all his magical power.
Kind of scary - polling out has shown that initial Republican agreement with the George Floyd verdict (60 percent or something) has declined quickly in the days following, no doubt helped along by Fox News and conservative radio talking about how it will mark the dawn of lawlessness.

Good ole Gov. Deputy Dawg:

Tennessee Governor Bill Lee announced an end to the state’s public health orders Tuesday.
According to a release from the governor’s office, Lee has signed Executive Order 80, which officially removes the power granted to local authorities to issue face covering requirements.
“COVID-19 is now a managed public health issue in Tennessee and no longer a statewide public health emergency,” Lee said in the release.
