That's OK, he's gotta go with what he believes. But if he's wrong, and pick number three isn't any better or is even worse than Garoppolo, then Shanahan's done as an NFL head coach forever.

The rest of the SEC is going to be pissed when he’s offensive coordinator in Tuscaloosa come 2023.

Saw a Texas assfuck stand on A5 the other day with a 6 up. Yup, table loss.

I want to laugh so hard ... but after the gaffe Ryan Pace made in trading up to draft Mitch Trubisky, it could happen.

Pace and Nagy have to know they're on watch. Assuming the McCaskeys aren't asleep at the wheel ...

And he won't be throwing to two first-round receivers behind a line littered with draft picks against inferior defenses.

Cannot say I have watched much College Football this year, but is Pitts THAT good?

We don't do that because we already know Mahomes is a great NFL quarterback. In the case of Jones and every other college prospect, we are just projecting. We are making educated guesses. Jones might be great, but he doesn't have the physical skills of the other top quarterbacks and he was propped up by a ridiculously-talented supporting cast.

    I don't understand it, either.

Pitts at TE is 6'6", 245. In 2020 he had 770 receiving yards, (17.9 avg) and 12 TD's in eight games. He runs a 4.43 40 and has an 83" wingspan.

He's basically Megatron playing TE. Throw it anywhere in his area and he can go get it, and he's 6'6" and most of the guys trying to cover him are 5'10" to 6'2 or 3". Sure, he could be a draft bust, but everything he's showing says that he's going to be a top tier guy at a position where that's unusual. Say the Falcons take him at #4, they add him to their three existing quality WR's. Someone's going to be getting single coverage virtually every play, and if not you run the ball. He's a credible blocker too, not an earth mover but he does block.

Not many TE's are talked about as a legit top 5 pick, and he is.

This is why I asked. That's unheard of. And, then Jerry Jones came out with that video message addressing him. Was just curious. Thanks NC.

Nobody in the SEC figured out how to shut him down, including the teams that stuck CB1 on him. Any chance Kyle Trask has of being drafted in the middle rounds instead of setting up his State Farm office in Palatka, he owes to Pitts.

The evidence is that Shanahan is that good.
