Panthers trade Bridgewater to the Broncos for a sixth.

Oof - I'd rather have Bridgewater as a backup QB than a sixth round pick. Nice addition for the Broncos, though.

Jackson is not Wilson or Mahomes or Brady or Rogers or Roethlisberger or Brees.

He might not ever recreate 2019, but 2020 wasn’t terrible.

    He’s 30-7 as a starter. That’s really good.

His passer rating dropped to 10 points to 73 last year. That’s not so good.

He rushed for over 1,000 yards. That’s really good. But he was down .9 per attempt and ran for 200 fewer yards last season.

He’s not a bust, but we might have seen his stock already reach its peak.

Is he still a top-10 QB? Yes. Top 5? Weeellllll...

And if that passing rating does not go up, he isn’t going to get faster, so Glanville’s NFL might sneak up on him quickly.

    But bust? No way.

Lamar Jackson will always be remembered for his runs.

The Bridgewater deal means the teams needing QBs probably aren’t moving up since they no longer have to get ahead of the Broncos
QBs will go on the first three picks. The next three will be position players — Pitts, Chase and Sewell
The Miami trade of Ereck Flowers means the Dolphins will take either Chase or Sewell, whoever the Bengals don’t take
That leaves the Lions as the key to the draft ... hoo boy
With trading down no longer an option and the players who would help most off the board, they have a choice between the two Alabama WRs, Penn State LB Micah Parsons and the guy I think they’ll take — Northwestern OT Rashawn Slater

Obviously. Dealer, who I know, and I just looked at each other and shook our heads.

Exactly. Only way to get ahead in blackjack is win your splits, doubles and 20s.

It's been rumored for a bit, but yes, nice pickup.

Yep, you gotta, or just hope the dealer keeps busting, which will get him an early coffee break.
