    The Twins were smart to hold on to Byron Buxton. I'm sure they had ample opportunities to let him go, so much was expected of him and he produced so little until the last couple years.

    Pitcher was on the grass well upfield of the baseline box. Absolutely no way the runner is entitled to that line.

    And you know there are 3 or 4 posters here who will stop at the Wins.

    The runner actually is. The call is still horrendous as the ball was already in the first baseman’s glove when contact was made. There is no defending this call.

    And now Burnes to the IL with an “undisclosed issue” ... i.e. COVID.

    I can understand position players and relief pitchers being hesitant about getting the vaccine in-season. They don't want to be unavailable Tuesday because they're feeling the side effects of getting the vaccine on Monday.
    But starting pitchers, who have four days off in between appearances, shouldn't have those issues.
