Which is why he had an interest in San Francisco.

Anyone who thought a deal for Rogers would be worked out just hours after he announces he wants out knows nothing about football.

It was fun watching my fellow Steelers fans react to the team taking Najee Harris, especially with it being one of the worst-kept secrets of the draft. The Steelers didn't even try to hide their interest in Harris. I read the words "wasted pick" many times. Others absolutely love the pick after watching the team struggle to find a running back since Bell left. I'm torn. Harris is a hell of a player and he fills a need, but man, they need help on the offensive line and I don't like spending first-round picks on running backs. The Steelers rarely trade up in the first round, but I'd love to see them do it in the second to get the offensive line help they need.

I don't remember the exact numbers but I can get close. If Green Bay trades or releases Rogers by 5/31, they save 5 million and change. If they trade/release him after 6/1, they save 21 million. He has no more guaranteed money on his contract.

Releasing Rogers would be the single ballsiest thing I think a professional sports team will have done in my lifetime.

Is it just me or does Lawrence’s head look too big for his body?
