#TeamModerna here--got my second shot on March 26 so I've been fully-vaccinated for awhile. The 24 hours after each shot I was a bit sore and tired; the second time, I had chills as well--felt like a low-grade fever. I slept about 10 hours after the second dose and felt better the following morning than most days before or since. The trade-off is well worth it to begin resuming at least a semblance of normal life again.

Just got second Pfizer yesterday. First shot no symptoms at all other than being completely wiped about 12 hours after. A really good night's sleep and that was it. Last night I was pretty wiped again, but not as bad as the first time honestly, but slept like absolute crap. I don't know if it was because of the shot or all the caffeine I consumed too late. So I didn't feel great waking up, maxed out on pain relievers but now feel fine other than still being a little tired. About 24 hours out at this point.

My friends, I woke up with a “raging” headache and dry mouth this morning.

However, this was not the fault of Pfizer, but of another corporation: Wild Turkey!

I hate needles and shots too, but I barely felt it.

Same - I got my second shot today, and I didn't even feel it. It's been about two hours, and I don't even have any arm soreness yet, like the first shot. I'm still kind of thinking this one will kick my ass at some point, because the first one didn't, and I'm not *that* lucky to go 2-for-2.

The vax shots I barely felt.

The infusion - as in they had to put in an IV line - I most certainly felt. I also apparently turned white as chalk and they couldn’t get a blood pressure reading the first go round. That got me express wheelchair service to the reclining chairs in the treatment room.

Oh, my bad. I had an IV for a surgery last September, it sucks. Totally empathize.

The actual shot was fine. It was less painful than the flu shot.

Hope you feel better soon, mr. dixiehack.

I got Moderna #2 on Saturday morning. By around midnight, I had a 102 fever, chills, swelling under my arm and body aches. I was exhausted but couldn’t fall sleep. Tylenol helped bring the fever down by mid-day on Sunday. I ended up sleeping about five hours overnight and took most of Sunday easy with a few naps. I felt much better by Monday and have been going to bed an hour or two early every night this week because I can’t stay awake.

Wow. The main COVID thread fell off the first page. That’s a good sign.

Today was second shot plus two weeks. Gorgeous day. Long walk. Hit a couple of our favorite places downtown. Ate inside. Only masked while going in and out of businesses.

    It was glorious.

Continue to mask, when possible. The variants are providing uncertainty.
