It’s been awhile since I’ve seen him, but his hairline is as off target as a halfback pass.

He's like Vitale or Berman. Right pla e right time when the WWL was getting started.

NFL Network for night two. Already in my good graces for breaking out “Where the Streets Have No Name.”

NFLN wins simply for not having self-important sorts like Kiper and McShay and a network dying to drown everyone with its self-importance.

I watched NFLN all night last night. I'm liking ABC's coverage so far tonight.

    McShay's OK.

I flip back and forth between all three. I found McShay's role on ABC odd. Herbstreit and Howard talked a lot more, it seemed, and while they certainly know about some top-line players, it's McShay's moment to shine.

Kiper's more old school in the sense that he more often goes off what his network of scouts tell him, and I don't think his network is as good as it used to be, nor do scouts tell the truth as much as they they once did. McShay works harder on evals. So does Daniel Jeremiah and Brugler.

Went with NFLN right after the Britt McHenry incident with the towing company because the WWL sent McHenry to Charlotte to stake out the Carolina Panthers, and I wasn't supporting the person or the enabling network.

    Not interested in going back.

I'm not permanently mad at a TV network because they investigated My Precious, that's for sure.
