The party platform for 25 years has been 'we won't make your lives better, just the lives of the people you hate worse.

I love Cheney v. Trump - I love that W. is even out there jawwing. Still kind of shocked that if Team Cheney could manufacture a cause for war in Iraq, finding goods (real or "creatively produced") on Trump shouldn't be that hard of a task. You do get the sense that Team Cheney is raising the temperature on this thing quickly in order to figure out which people are just part of the go-along/get-along gang and which are the True Trumpers they'll have to deal with when the smoke is cleared.

    First, that’s a joke of a headline. It’s not a “threat” it’s a litigation fund.

    Next, from the story:

“Last year, Wyoming and Montana — another major coal state — asked the Supreme Court to override a decision by Washington state to deny a permit to build a coal export dock on the Columbia River. The interstate lawsuit followed years of unsuccessful attempts by the dock’s developer, Utah-based Lighthouse Resources, to contest the permit denial in federal court.

The Supreme Court hasn’t said yet if it will hear the case but the new legal fund approved resoundingly by the Wyoming Legislature and overseen by Gordon could help cover the cost of that litigation, Pearlman said.”

Florida schools reopened in the fall. A few online only, many with a hybrid model. But almost all of them offered in person schooling as soon as schools opened last fall.

Some kind of Scott-Cheney or Cheney-Scott ticket is the only thing to me that has legs right now, if you're trying to get away from Trumpism for 2024. Scott actually pursuing some sort of police reform, instead of just doing the kneejerk "no" like most Republicans on every issue, suggests he has potential to broaden the party's base.

“Wyoming is sending a message that it is prepared to bring litigation to protect her interests,” Gordon spokesman Michael Pearlman said of the fund signed into law April 6.

Sounds exactly like a threat to me.

Fuck Wyoming and Montana for trying to spread what is essentially a cancer to the environment. Stay the fuck off the Columbia.

The gist of the article is that Wyoming coal is going broke no matter what, and this is a ludicrous last-play heave by the Governor to show sympathy to his main donors.

Well, I don't know who had the Dom Perignon, but the spoon might have been up his son's nose ...
