The 2021 Running NASCAR/IMSA/other racing things thread

The other week I was listening to some sports media reporter — might have been someone at SBJ, not sure — go on and on about how the NHL’s TV deal means NASCAR is going to clean up in a year or two. I hope so for their sake, but I don’t see it happening. I saw one of the top trucks driving around with a blank hood the other night.

 

I’m absolutely certain that the opportunity to race both IMSA and Le Mans is what brought Roger Penske back to IMSA.

 

Upon further review, I'm not sure Buschy McBusch Race is as apt as I thought it was considering it was a Cup race, but the Buschy McBusch Xfinity Race doesn't really work.

 

The next-generation Cup Series car is slated to take its public bow Wednesday.



In a big way, because it’s getting iRaced that night.
