Yep. As an O’s fan who put $20 on Baltimore F5 at +100 ($$$), I’ve been quite invested. He’s been a first pitch strike machine

23 out of 24 first strikes. Wow.

He couldn't find a better team to no-hit. About half of Seattle's hitters aren't even hitting .200.

    Three more outs to go.

I'm checking in on the MLB phone app and they're still tagging it as a perfect game on the MLB scoreboard. Either the guy running the Gameday app didn't pay attention or there's an obscure rule about perfect games I don't know about. But, a guy did reach base, so I don't see how you can call it "perfect."

Yeah, it says perfect game on ESPN too. I was watching. K-WP followed immediately by a CS.

Will be interesting to see how many balls he calls against a pitcher who almost never throws one.

They argued about Ernie Shore's perfect game (starter Babe Ruth walked leadoff man, got ejected for arguing, Shore comes in, runner gunned down at second, Shore then retires next 26) for decades. Eventually Shore got the credit.

Armando Galarraga just threw his coffee mug across the room.

And that's that. Jim Palmer, you've got company.

What a game. Orioles fans knew Means was a stud, now everyone does. So pumped.

And now the app has it tagged as "no-hitter." And, Gordon, didn't they take away Shore's credit for a perfecto in the mid-'90s when they revamped the requirements for a no-hitter.
