Wasn't Ted DiBiase a WWF wrestler in the 80s?

That's his son, Ted DiBiase Jr., who wrestled in WWE from 2008-13 before retiring. I had heard he was being investigated for some funny financial business regarding a nonprofit he ran.

It was Ted's other son, Brett Dibiase, who got caught up in that.
Brett was running a non-profit that the state paid to do some drug treatment work, and the non-profit never did it. Allegedly, the same non-profit paid Favre for some speeches he might or might not have actually made.
I think the two Teds had some tangential connection to the non-profit, but as far as I remember they're not caught up in this at the moment.

Mayne had an incredible run considering he wasn't a classic anchor - more of a personality/hybrid. He has a podcast or three in his future. I could only imagine him bringing on guests who went through something bordering on the infamous - talking to George Brett about Morganna, or the time he dookied himself. Asking off the wall questions of Matt Millen and his drafting. I'd love to hear him with Joey Crawford on David Robinson, or ask Adam Sandler which non-actor he's had in one of his movies is the best and worst.

Mayne always seemed to think he was a lot funnier than he was.

Still, it sucks to be shown the door.
