If Cabrera retires he doesn't get the remaining money on his contract. He gets 64 million combined over next two years -- 2024 and 2025 are options that won't vest since he needs to be in the top 10 in MVP voting -- he's not walking away from that. No one should.

I'd be happy to stumble around if someone bought me an extra shot of Fireball, nevermind for $64 million.

With Nats in town, Yankee fans still booing Altuve. Like Rangers fans booing Denis Potvin.

I guess the Astros have complained to the league about the meanness of opposing fans. Seriously.

I know this didn't happen with Manfred and really the owners in charge, but the only real response to such a complaint by the Astros would be, "you assholes are lucky you're still all in baseball, so shut up unless you want us to reopen the investigation."

Taking a day off seems to have helped. Miggy passes the Babe in hits, going 2-for-2 to raise his average to a lofty .127 before a mid-game rain delay.

Wade Miley (?!) has a no-hitter through six in Cleveland.

At least the Indians put together a bunch of wins between being no-hit twice in two weeks...

Luplow made the last out of a no-hitter twice in the last month.

This board needs another argument about RBIs. Have at it, JC.

Brie? Camenbert? Chico's favorite, Velveeta? What kind of cheese do they want with that whine?
