My friend, there is nothing funny about groceries. On that we can agree.

As of today, over 3 million Massachusetts residents are fully vaccinated. That's 43 percent of the population, children (not yet eligible) included, so it's closer to half of all adults. Also new covid cases under 500 for the second straight day and for the first day since June 30, 2020, no new deaths.

A fact is not necessarily wrong just because it makes terrible people happy.

This is a good point. And it's probably true in a lot of cases.

That's probably because we are so fortunate and the vaccine is, in fact, so available here. People in the U.S. don't know how lucky they are, and how easy they have it, and how little, relatively speaking, their lives have really been changed -- particularly for the worse at all -- because of COVID-19, and the race to get vaccinated. Which I'd say this country is winning.

As usual, because of that, people here have gotten complacent, and are not too worried about if/when they get inoculated. They know they're going to be able to, whenever they can, whenever they feel like, whenever they have the time, etc.

    That is not true everywhere.
