Yep. I have walked and taken laps on many a NASCAR and NHRA track. You know how it affected my coverage? I wrote about the guy who won the race.

 

I honestly haven't crossed the I-40 bridge in Memphis since about '74-75 (can't remember; I was a kid), but I get a nice view of it every other year when I visit. My last trip ever to Memphis will be 2022.

 

A buddy in logistics claims 70-percent of the semis crossing the Mississippi use that bridge. If that’s true ...

 

If that's "a normal tourist visit” to the US Capitol that's a pretty tough place to work.

It's absolutely amazing some of his fellow police didn't start shooting someone to free their fellow officer.

 

Wouldn't there be very heavy Fed Ex traffic on that bridge, with Memphis being the hub?

 

Memphis is the air hub - and the airport is south of town. But damn that is a crucial bridge.
