Cooking celebs. I don't mean celebrities who are cooks, but celeb chefs who have been "judges" for 12 years now because they need/want the money.

I understand the sentiment, and can see how Harry and Meghan might not have liked it, if that's actually what happened. But, we don't actually know for sure what anybody called anybody -- my understanding is that somebody wondered about what Archie's skin tone would be. Seems like kind of an obvious wonder, actually, in a family in which the first person anything other than totally white had married in, and considering the family's/institution's long previous history. It was more the voicing of it that was the problem, I'd guess.

Anything Harry has done for veterans was done while part of the royal family. We can only hope his Invictus Games will still go on each year while he lives in the U.S. I think he'll be outside his element and underutilized here, and that he'll end up, at some point, being incredibly bored and unhappy. And I think he'll miss his family.

I just think they could get over their anger or discomfort, and so could his family, with regard to any prejudices they may have. But that will, unfortunately, never happen with Harry and Meghan staying in the U.S. When it comes down to it, family is family. It's the only one you have, and sometimes, patience and forgiveness is needed with them.

I also just think Harry/Meghan have been in the media way too much lately, I'm not exactly sure why at this point, and I'm sick of it. That's what the thread's supposed to be about. They're becoming just people who are famous for being famous, instead of having good, compelling and positive reasons for being so.

They have been in the media too much, but why the f*** should any black person get over blatant racism? Seriously, if someone in the family had an honest question about skin tone, they could have a googled it. To express the idea of, oh, how dark would the baby be, is blatant racism.

I laugh and shake my head at how Google seems to be the answer to everything. I guess they don't have to get over it, but I think with a family member, it might be prudent, kind and good. Everyone has biases, and less than perfect tendencies, to many degrees, about many things, including race. Anyone who thinks they don't is probably being less than totally honest.

If someone in my family were a blatant racist -- and I do, in fact, have someone who is -- I'd have to look past it, deal with it directly, do what I can to change it, etc., if I'm to have any sort of a relationship with him or her. (And yes, that is possible). And that's what I do. I think most people could, particularly when it comes to family.

I also am not sure whatever Harry's family member said/did was blatant racism. They wondered about something that, probably, they were all going to wonder about -- even the parents, frankly. I also am not at all sure that they would have disliked or discounted Meghan (or Archie), especially assuming they got to know them, just because of their skin color (which is something I would consider blatant racism). So, I guess that's how/why I could post as I did.

I’m tired of Americans marking out over every scrap of royal family news. My ancestors marched all the way down to Kings Mountain and shot Patrick Ferguson full of holes to give me the right not to have to hear any of that bullshit.

I await the sociopathic Urbey disclosing to the media that he has heart disease, which usually happens right around the time the arrests mount or he has a .500 season

Not because I don't like him, but because I'm sick to death of the pandemic. Which I guess is far better than being sick to death because of the pandemic, but still ...

What's frustrating is its always someone of the mainstream telling the minority to "just get over it." That's easy for you to say.
