Commercials we love

The Dikembe Mutmobo shot blocking spot during the NCAA tournament struck a near perfect balance of being on often enough to be recognizable and welcome, but not really coming close to overkill. Apple has never come close to that sweet spot during March Madness.

 

Agree. Dikembe and his fingerwagging grin generally could pull at least one laugh out of me on every repetition, and I never came to detest the ad.

 

That's an old spot they pulled out for the occasion.

I believe it's from the same campaign that produced the "happy as a camel on hump day" commercial.

 

I love the tune.

 

This one. It's shorty, snappy and has dancing letters.

My wife saw that commercial and practically shouted, "Oh my God, she looks GREAT!"

 

Honest to God, I’m stunned she’s in her mid 50s. I’m almost 20 years younger and I look closer to 50 than she does.

 

She was one of the first people I saw advertised on Cameo last year. I felt sad for her that she was reduced to doing that for money. Then I looked up the cost out of curiosity. After that I still felt a little sad for her but more sad for me that there would be no personalized greeting from Lisa Loeb in my future.

 

50 is the new 25. Renée Elise Goldsberry is 50.

 

The Subaru commercial with the dog family and the dog truck driver is one of the cutest commercials I’ve ever seen.
