Damn it. I really wanted this game to go OT. It has just been too much fun.

That was sixty minutes of chaos and the goalies stood up exceptionally well all things considered. Florida was generally better 5-on-5, but give the Lightning power-play chances at your own risk. They will fuck you up.

That charging penalty midway through the third really screwed the Panthers in that game. You have to keep your head even if it is a very physical game. Finish clean checks but keep it clean. That allowed Tampa Bay to tie it and then basically it was next goal wins from there.

I don't know how that pace from the first game continues for the remainder, but I'm here for it. That was just a fun game of hockey to watch.

Curious to see who Florida comes back with in net. None of the three would shock me.

Pens may have issues in net.

Anyone still watching the North division play out the string?

Seems pretty obvious that Bruins-Caps is going 7

Seems that way. Caps need Kuznetsov back in the worst way, especially if Eller misses time. Oshie is getting killed on the dot, but you know, he's a freaking right wing, so you might suspect that would be the case. Bummed because I thought the Caps could just hold on in the third and steal that one last night. Bruins were the better team throughout and deserved to win.

Jarry bounced back nicely for the Penguins in Game 2. Pittsburgh took a 2-0 lead in the first period, then held on for the 2-1 win to tie the series. Jarry stopped 39 of 40 shots, giving up only one goal on a pretty backhand by Josh Bailey.

Jarry's inconsistency is still a problem for the Penguins. So is the absence of Malkin.

This tweet may start another riot in Vancouver.

The problem is no longer just Benning, it’s ownership.

What an atrocious way to lose that game.

Screw hockey. I'm done. I'll carry the memory of 2018 to my grave (an early grave if I keep watching this stuff)
