    I used to like the different contrasts of the AL having the DH and the NL being more traditional of having pitchers hit. But I just don’t feel like seeing inexperienced pitchers whiffing at the plate and, on the few times they reach base, getting hurt on the basepaths. It seems like a waste.

    Thanks for the explanation. Which of course is absolute BS on ownership's part, since it already exists in the AL.

    I like the strategy of pinch-hitting and substitutions in the late innings. Let the DH hit only for the starting pitcher.

    Trout just left the game after pulling up lame running the bases. Slammed his helmet on the ground, so probably not just the flu.
