You're describing the Republicans since the Obama days. Oppose, oppose, oppose ... but offer no alternatives.

 

A couple of thoughts.

A) I know McCarthy wanting an investigation of the (for want of a better term) the BLM riots as part of the investigation into 1/6 is classic whataboutism, but can they be spun off into separate investigations? Of course, the GQC doesn't want to hear the findings of that, eithr.

2) How about a Warren Commission-type study of 1/6?

 

Which is another thing the Dems really should harp on. "Candidate X's Republican Party has not had one brand-new idea in the last 40 years ..." Show some 1980s pop-culture references too.

 

I know part of it is due to height, but it's also quite pathetic that they put all the women right behind Bud Abbott. Almost as if they're trying to play some sort of stupid optics game.
