It was mostly known as the Crosstown Expressway, even though Selmon’s name was on it too. There was a major push to start calling it the Selmon after his death, but it was the Crosstown to me until I moved away a couple of years ago. It’s the site of the most expensive speeding ticket I’ve ever received (construction zone, oops.)

Was talking with a longtime friend who moved away about 20 yrs ago (yes he's mainstream caucasian) and he was laughing about how he loved Fatf*ck's presidency for the sheer spectacle of it, the comedy but said he did not, and would not vote for him.

I then said well I understood (not accepted) the GOP's agenda for pushing tax breaks into law but not the signal to racists to come out of the closet.

What was very cool was he said, "oh I understand how being a minority you'd definitely object and I'm not going to pretend that I know what it's like for you." Understanding, that's all I'm looking for, not validation.

Yeah, races, where we all share 99.999% of the same DNA, have different cognitive abilities. Got it. Who the F**K is he, what facts does he have to support that and why should we listen to what he's spouting?
