How do you disavow January 6 and not piss off the 30-percenters or so whom you need to win a primary?

Most of the GOP is unwilling to rip the band aid off, hoping if they just wait it out, the band aid will fall off on its own and they'll avoid damaging their own prospects.

 

I disagree. It's my belief the majority of Republican Senators and members of Congress have only one regret about January 6 -- it failed. They'd be happy to serve under a dictator Trump. They're sorry Pelosi and AOC weren't murdered.

 

Maybe, instead of running for national office, he should find a nice quiet job somewhere in Wyoming and work on repairing his relationship with his estranged son.
