DeChambeau continues to be a mystery.
The driving is one thing, but his wedges are just this side of awful.
I was mildly amused watching him go driver, wedge from 196 (YARDS) on a par 5 to 15 feet, then miss the putt for eagle.
Took a divot that went 30 yards up the fairway.

Vegasinsider.com says Mickelson was 70-to-1 after the first round. Hmmm.

His 69 is going to look like Christie Brinkley after the end of today. 31 on Back 9, phenomenal.

It was on the front 9, right? He started on No. 10.

You're probably right, I just saw the score for the last 9 they showed. Wait, yeah you're right he birdied 9 to end.

Thinking the cut eventually settles at +4.

Brooks playing like the Brooks of old; just rock solid.

Bryson, if he could learn to hit wedges.....
    Morikawa, if he could putt....

Notables likely to miss the cut: Jason Day, Bill Horschel, Webb Simpson, Dustin Johnson, Sergio Garcia, Adam Scott, Tommy Fleetwood, Max Homa, Matt Kuchar

Notables fighting to hold on: Justin Thomas, Rory McIlroy, Big Leish, Martin Kaymer

And, um, Cameron Tringale, who shot 70 yesterday, is at +12 through nine holes today. Holy cow. Made triple on 14, made a 10 on the par-5 16th and made quad on 17. Goes from 1 under to 11 over in four holes.
