Its not about what happened in the past, its about who she is now and what her position is now. It cuts away at what is a transexual.

By all means, go right ahead and tell the transexual what it is to be a transexual. I'm sure Ms. Jenner will be happy to listen.

Either way, it still isn't hypocritical. If Jenner said that she should have been allowed to compete as a woman, then it would be hypocritical.

I did not realize that. That does make it hypocritical.

The idiots in front of and behind the cameras of "Fixer Upper" cannot go away fast enough.

If this story is true, we all should be tired of Michael Bay. (I read it and I just wasn't sure where to put it.) This comes from an interview with Kate Beckinsale talking about making Pearl Harbor with Bay.

“I think he was very alarmed because I wasn’t blond and my boobs weren’t bigger than my head, I didn’t make sense to him as an attractive woman,” said Beckinsale of Bay

I wonder about anyone who needs any help understanding that Kate Beckinsale is attractive.

But then again, at that point in his career - Bay had never cast a female of that type in a leading female role. Tea Leoni in Bad Boys? Liv Tyler in Armageddon? Vanessa Marcil as Cage's girlfriend in The Rock? I understand the characterization, since Bay movies are the equivalent of Pam Anderson - but the quote has no basis in fact.

Didn't he pretty notoriously terrorize Megan Fox on the set of Transformers?

Cable news (and “news”) anchors. I don’t watch any of them and yet somehow I keep getting fed stories about them.

If anything, all of those actresses you mentioned show he has (or had at the time) "a type" that seems fairly close, physically, to Kate Beckinsale. Even Megan Fox is pretty far from the stereotypical blonde bombshell Beckinsale is describing.

    Ellen Page.
    The thread, not the person.
