The bookies should put up a yes/no prop for Phil to win tomorrow. Sentimental money vs. "c'mon, it's 50-year-old Phil" money.

Didn't like Phil's decision to turn the ball over on 13. He's hitting decent fades with both the driver and 3 wood. I know that's the shape of the hole, but for a player like him draws become screaming hooks.

I wish he still had Bones on the bag. I feel like his brother took over the job when being an agent didn't work out for him.

No. You saw Phil. The master of the birdie-birdie-eagle-double-par-birdie scorecard.

Bones' back prevented him from carrying and he landed a sweet gig with NBC. Phil hit a bad shot on 13. He missed a few putts he might've made on the back nine. But he's still leading, and that's because it was Koepka who missed the shortie on the 18th.
Let me extend and revise my remarks. It'd surprise nobody if Mickelson shot a 77 tomorrow and finished T-20. It should also not surprise anybody if he shoots 69 and somebody in the field has to beat him to top that.

But that’s what I love about Phil
Lefty and Seve Ballesteros are the only golfers who come close to Arnold Palmer in style
I still remember at age 11 watching Arnie build a seven-shot lead in the Open and losing it in nine holes
Phil doesn’t toss aside a cigarette and hitch up his pants like Arnie did but he’s as much fun to watch

If course it was a bad shot but the decision there to hit draw was a mistake.

Golf Channel just had an amazing split screen. One side was Phil working on his driver and 2-wood. Other side was Koepka on the putting green. Now I like Koepka's game and the fact he doesn't seem to care for the amazing amount of bullshit around his sport. But as a bettor, I don't like to see my guy on the putting green after 54 holes.

Would being the oldest to win a major make up for Winged Foot?

Anyone wanna get a side bet down on the battle of the Ryder Cup Captains? Stricker and Harrington are each T-23 at +1 going into tomorrow.
