Louie Gohmert on the chamber floor bragging about his SAT and getting into A&M = one of the funniest things of the last week.

Cuomo himself opened a broadcast after the allegations were made by acknowledging the story about his brother and his obvious conflict of interest. He said he would not cover the story, but the other prime time shows and the rest of the network would continue to do so.

What more should they do? Fire Cuomo because his brother was accused of misconduct?

See, I think we do talk enough about it. In fact, I think we talk too much about it, and we need to stop contributing to the spread of it by posting yet more links and tweets about it. Trump will go away if we let him/make it happen.

It doesn't matter what he pretends to think happened. He lost the election. He should be long gone from the news at this point, except with regard to whatever findings there are about the Jan. 6 mess in the capitol. Everything else? It doesn't matter what he says. We keep equating all this to Nazi disinformation, but the difference is that the Nazis actually rose to and were in power when they executed their drive.

Trump is not in power, and we shouldn't keep treating him as if he is.

Several thoughts: Gordon Sondland is the last guy to smell it when the dog farted in the room. He would be clueless right now about any smells related to Trump.

My bet: He is a very wealthy guy, but he's also the kind of guy who lives 5 times more expensively than he's worth. And he really is out some legal fees (although if it was really $1.8 million, I hope those lawyers buffed his dome every day, also). Combine that with him seeing his net worth go down because the hotel business (with his types of hotels in particular) got clobbered during the pandemic and him likely having been leveraged to high hell. ... and being the self-unaware douche that he is, he thinks suing might net him some money.
