I eat at my desk while working every day, then clock out for my lunch hour and head upstairs for a midday nap. Best fringe benefit I’ve had at any job.

    Well, of course it is.

I mean, what respectable fly would be caught dead anywhere near Ted Cruz?

I think this is the only thing that has the potential to shame Republicans into it, if they're even capable of feeling shame, similar to how Jon Stewart eventually put enough pressure on them to fund 9/11 responders bills. Make the bastards uncomfortable, and get it on camera.

"Excuse me, Sen. McConnell. Just one more question. If Trump wasn't behind the insurrection, then how come Secret Service didn't immediately take him to a secure, undisclosed location?"

I was listening to Fresh Air this morning. Terry Gross was interviewing a guy about the various impediments to voting the R's are putting in. He mentioned ballot initiatives in South Dakota. The lege in S.D. put in a requirement that ballot initiative signatures must be collected on a sheet of paper with the proposed language printed in 12 point type, resulting in people having to collect signatures on a piece of paper the size of a bath towel. Printing costs for these are much higher as well as the whole thing being much more awkward and clownish to do.
