Except they're not going to prevent this from coming out. Either the House will handle this on its own or Garland will handle it. It's not getting swept under the rug, no matter how much the GOP whines and obfuscates.

Biden should just appoint a Commission - like the Tower Report on Iran Contra. Appoint two Ds, two Rs who weren't part of Congress at the time of the attack, have no links to the alleged perps, weren't witnesses or potential victims and have them find what they find. Appoint Colin Powell to lead it, put Doug Jones on it, Olympia Snow and Janet Napolitano.

 

I like my plan better. Skip the hearings and go to trials.
