SummerSlam is coming up in a few months, one year since Dom's first match. Father vs. son would be a juicy subplot for one of the tentpole PPVs.

It really is a matter of "when" and not "if" that happens, right? Seems like it's got to be at either SummerSlam or Wrestlemania. And unless they just want to make sure Dominic is sharp enough in the ring to hang with his old man, the latter feels like a long time to wait.

Picking off the WWE scrap heap or not, Mark Henry another huge get for AEW.

I hope the Stadium Stampedes continue. Cheesy as can be, but fun to watch.

The WWE Treasures episode with Jake Roberts was interesting. It was almost a cross between a normal episode and one of the deep dive Biography episodes. They didn't shy away from his personal issues and past at all, and even included some of the awful clips of him being fat and drunk on the indy circuit. It was framed as part of his redemption story. They told more of the story of Roberts, and less about the items or the character.

The first piece of memorabilia they task him with hunting down is one of the bags he used to bring Damien to the ring. Triple H asks if he knows where one might be, and Jake said something to the effect of, "When you're an addict you really have no idea where something from 30 years ago would be."
Another item they were trying to track down was the guitar the Honky Tonk Man bashed Jake in the head with to jumpstart their Wrestlemania III feud. I don't know if the two of them have ever talked about it elsewhere (it wouldn't surprise if they have), but apparently there is some genuine bad blood between those two that they dove into. Jake blames the guitar shot and Honky for starting his downward spiral.
They used Jimmy Hart as an intermediary to find the guitar and AJ Francis tried to get him to talk about the real life feud. Hart basically said, "Ummm ... yeah, let's go find the guitar."

I felt that way, too. Also found it wild that it's 2021 and we got Jake Roberts appearing with two promotions' productions on the same night.

I was thinking that too, like “hey, it’s an AEW guy on a WWE show!”

I agree with Batman. It wasn’t as lighthearted a show as the others, but I found it more compelling.

A&E's Foley bio might be the best yet. Maybe because the contrast of how he's such a sadistic SOB inside the ring and he's such a universally beloved person and devoted family man outside of it. I'm enjoying this one better than any of the others.

Next week's Bret Hart bio? I know A&E is trying to attract the casual watcher, but as a wrestling fan, I'm not sure because the story just seems like the stories (the Screwjob, Owen, the collapse of his career) have been told SOOOO much.

And, somehow, one of them was not Sausage Castle Wrestling.

In two weeks, A&E has Paul Wight and Mark Henry search for Andre memorabilia.

Me thinks this was filmed a good while ago, because that would be a bit awkward.

Next week, it's Greg Valentine and Ed "Brutus the Disciple Zodiac Barber Beefcake" Leslie.

Fortunately, Dino Bravo won't be around to stir dissension between the two.

So it dawned on me last night that this Alexa Bliss story is going to draw on and go back to the Bliss/Nia Jax friendship, heel turn and Wrestlemania match from several years ago (was it the Orlando 2 Mania or maybe New Orleans 2).

i dare say that’s.....kind of interesting
