Will we watch James get old these next 3-4 years or will he call it quits before someone calls it quits for him?

James from 4-5 years ago could carry this group. Now he needs Davis.

And Booker is shredding them.

 

Specious call at the end of Denver-Portland leads to overtime ... I mean, I guess I could see them calling an on-the-floor foul on Rivers there, but it was pretty damn ticky tack, considering where they were in the game. Dame of course does Dame things after...

 

I have no idea what the refs saw there. That wasn’t a foul and the only contact came during the shot.

 

Lakers-Suns is a battle of who can win with a super star hurt.

 

Even 5 years ago LeBron wasn’t carrying this group anywhere without Davis. With Davis they’re title contenders. Without Davis they’re a marginal playoff team.

 

Wait, isn’t that the definition of a foul? Sorry didn’t see the game so I have no context here.

 

Dame Lillard. Holy shit.

 

Austin Rivers’ hand looked like it brushed Lillard’s hip as he went up, but it was incredibly minor and didn’t affect the shot in the slightest. The refs looked at a replay and ruled it was a foul before the shot. The foul call was absurd, but if you’re going to call that it was during the shot.

Feel bad for Lillard. He’s playing out of his mind and everyone else in a Blazers uniform is playing like a clown.

 

An addendum to my last post:

In the two overtimes Lillard had 17 points of 6-for-8 shooting.

The rest of the team had 2 points on 1-for-14 shooting.

That's just a criminal lack of support.
