My older brother has a car wash/detailing business and I would help him out from time to time. Many years ago my younger brother and I were cleaning up a Rolls and decided to take it through the Burger King drive-thru for lunch. We were probably 23 and 20 and got quite a few eyeballs on us.

Cracks me up when a limo is in the drive-thru with the driver well in front of the restaurant and the passenger's rear window lined up with the drive-thru window.

Perfect. It has a Canadian flavor – based on my incredible limited experience personally and through the media – and it allows the franchise to continue to use the "EE" logo that has been around a while.

There’s nothing common about common sense anymore.

    Well, of course.

Problem is, I suspect that's the kind of vehicle that insurance won't replace in Janoris Jenkins' mind.

It's kinda simple. If the machine is nothing more than a point-A-to-B tool that insurance can repair or replace, consider driving it to the airport and leaving it in the parking tower.

If you value that machine as something more, call a rideshare service or see if someone can take you to the airport.

My income sure isn't his and my short is an '18 Subaru Forester, but it's been like two decades since I drove my own ride to the airport unless it was headed straight to rental car return on the road.

Just bought one from that same manufacturer myself and I'll be double-damned if I leave it in an airport parking lot.

I think Oregon still limits it as well.
